OUR FOCUS

What We Are Not

Thankfully, there are a plethora of programs and resources for those breaking into Tech to take advantage of. Thus, it is very important to us that potential mentees understand exactly what Our Time For Tech does and does not offer.

X symbol BOOTCAMP

We do not follow a formal learning curriculum (which would include assessments, quizzes, exams and/or capstone projects). Rather, we provide regular support, feedback and accountability to women who are already following a learning path of their choice.

X symbol CAREER ACCELERATOR

While we do support our mentees who are job-searching, we do not generate leads to specific employment opportunities, or guarantee any outcomes related to finding a job, like most career accelerators do.

X symbol REMOTE TECH PROJECT

Some programs pair a group of learners with senior tech professionals to work on a project from start to end. Our program does not oversee one particular project; our mentors deliver regular group-based sessions aimed at helping our mentees reach their career goals.

We are committed to increasing the numbers, diversity and inclusion of women in the tech industry.
